Aldringham is just north of Aldeburgh and about two miles inland - a lovely heathland footpath leads to Aldeburgh and Thorpeness - about three miles. There is a good pub close by as well as the Aldringham Craft Market.

The area is ideal for birdwatchers (Minsmere), golfers (Thorpeness), music lovers (Snape Maltings Concert Hall), sailing (Slaughden), walkers and cyclists (There are maps available) The Cabin is very prettily arranged and, although quite small has everything that a couple requires to have a really enjoyable holiday just a couple of miles from Suffolk's Heritage coast.
