Quay View, Orford
Near Snape, Suffolk Coast
"A wonderful weekend in Orford – just relaxing, a rare event indeed! Exploring old haunts; strolling around the village; admiring the snowdrops full out in the Churchyard; bird watching along the Alde Estuary and walking from Iken cliff to Iken Church; a picnic on the heathland; and a gorgeous meal in the Jolly Sailor. Best of all was our weekend ‘home’. Fresh flowers, books, soft chairs, logs for a fire, a blissfully comfy bed, a bowl full of chocolate - and The View! We enjoyed a lie-in watching the dawn slowly break above the lighthouse, and watching the last glimmer of light at sunset. Fantastic!" B & R C-S. Jan 2011
