Literally on the quayside in Orford - one of the prettiest locations on the Suffolk Coast - this traditional wooden clad building was originally built as a waterside warehouse and boatstore. Now comfortably converted to two lovely apartments, the topmost, The Loft has unsurpassed panoramic views across the estuary to Orford Ness (an area of historic and environmental fascination run by the National Trust), along the coast to Aldeburgh to the north and Havergate Island (a RSPB bird sanctuary) to the south.
