Grounds: Rouses Farm Cottage has its own area of garden and looks out over the owners garden and the surround farm. Visitors welcome to enjoy the whole garden.

Ideal for: Anyone who enjoys the outdoors, the beauty of historic buildings, arts and the water. For the art lover, a visit to Gainsborough's house in Sudbury is really obligatory. In the other direction, in Dedham, there is the Sir Alfred Munnings Art Museum and, a little further on Flatford Mill, the setting for John Constable's 'The Haywain'. For the golf enthusiast there is the Stoke by Nayland Golf Club, situated in 300 acres of beautiful undulating Suffolk countryside, on the edge of the Dedham Vale. It enjoys secluded tranquility yet is only one hour from both Stansted Airport and London.
There is excellent riding and walking. Just a couple of miles from Higham Race Course and close to the Suffolk Show Ground visitors may wish to bring ponies or horses. The farm has two standard stables and a foaling box which can accommodate 2 to 3 ponies. Prices from £15 per stable per night (horses must be fully vaccinated).
Eating & Drinking: Two great pubs in Stoke by Nayland, both with excellent lunch and dinner menus.
Children: As the property is situated on a working farm and has a large pond in the grounds the property is suitable for children over 10 only.

Entrance hall with doors to living room, both bedrooms, the kitchen and the family bathroom
The living room has a dining area with table and chairs for 6. A large comfy sofa and armchair makes for relaxing TV or DVD viewing. There are lovely views across the garden to the fields beyond
The kitchen is well fitted with worktops and cupboards. There is an electric oven with separate hob, a fridge freezer, microwave and washing machine.
The bathroom has a bath and power shower over, w.c. and basin.
The double bedroom has bedside tables and lamps, ample hanging space, chest of drawers, TV and long-distance views across the valley.

Garden
Visitors are welcome to roam the gardens. There is garden furniture and a barbecue. N.B. because of a high drop from a garden wall to a pond below this property is not suitable for children under 10
