Within a conservation area Melton is just a mile or so from Woodbridge, and close to the river Deben, was both home to and inspiration for the painter, Thomas Churchyard. Today Melton has a village shop, pub and good fish and chip shop as well as being superbly placed (just 5 minutes walk) from the sleepy East Suffolk line making the Coach House ideal for anyone wishing to enjoy the delights of the Suffolk Coast without a car.
Sutton Hoo, the famous Saxon burial ground, is just a mile away and there are many delightful riverside and heathland walks and cycle rides in the Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty just a few miles from the property.
The Suffolk Coast at Bawdsey (home to Britain s first radar station) is 10 miles and from here you can enjoy a trip on the foot ferry to Felixstowe Ferry. Nearest pubs: The Coach and Horses, Melton is a 10 minute walk. The Wilford Bridge, Melton is also within walking distance.

Ground Floor
The door opens into a neatly equipped galley kitchen with stand alone gas cooker, microwave, kettle, toaster and refridgerator with ice compartment.
The old quarry-tiled floor has been retained and there is a small breakfast/dining table and chairs to the right of the kitchen
The bathroom has a roll top bath with shower attachment, wash hand basin and wc
A straight staircase leads to the open plan studio bed/sitting room
First Floor
Wood flooring, a pot belly stove and a sofa, bookcases, side table TV / DVD, CD stereo and board games make up the sitting area
The platformed bedroom area with double bed, bedside table and lamps and wardrobe can be separated from the main sitting room by a moveable screen if required.
Outside
There is a paved area with garden furniture to the west of the property, ideal for evening drinks and al fresco eating
To the side and rear of the Coach House is a lawned garden with shrubs and flower beds
You are welcome to store bicycles in the owner's garage

Bed linen, towels (not beach towels) and heating (electric heaters) are provided within the price
There is access to a washing machine by arrangement with the owner
