"Holidayed at Willow Farm Cottage 19-26 June 2010 with husband and friends. Wanted to let you know that it was everything we hoped for and more! The cottage was simply lovely, well furnished, spotlessly clean and cosy, with a most unexpected and delightful "Welcome Pack". We were blessed with the most wonderful weather and we all enjoyed the peace of this gorgeous place; coming back from days out and relaxing with tea & biscuits (and maybe something stronger!) in the garden by the pond was just bliss. Tucked down a quiet country lane, with spectacular views over the water meadows of the river Deben at Lower Ufford. A very short and attractive walk takes you into this scenic village's centre where there is a good village shop, post office, a delightful 12th century parish church and an excellent pub both for food and Adnams, the Suffolk brew.

On the upper reaches of the River Deben, Lower Ufford is a village little changed by time and still retaining an old fashioned attraction and sleepiness. Close to Woodbridge and the sea it is an ideal location for exploring the magical coastline and the last great lowland heaths in Britain. This part of Suffolk contains many delightful villages and towns, all well worth exploring. It is truly an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
