Amidst grass and clover meadows close to a meandering stream this Grade II listed farm building has been beautifully converted to create a spacious and comfortable holiday cottage ideal for couples with or without children.

Lying near the owners' lovely farmhouse, the Thatched Cottage has a suntrap terrace and views over the garden to the meadows of the Waveney Valley, just 3 miles from the imposing tower of the ancient church at the heart of the market town of Beccles.

On the banks of the lower Waveney river, you can explore the lovely reed-fringed waterways of southern Broadland and their abundant wildlife (boat hire is available). Beccles has a rich mix of architectural history - it was once a fortified town - walks and nature trails and a fine range of restaurants, shops and pubs.

Close by, Suffolk's Heritage coastline encompasses Lowestoft's Blue Flag beach, genteel Southwold, Dunwich and RSPB Minsmere. Golf and fishing 4 miles. Nearest shop and pub 2 miles.

At the far end is a double bed with bedside tables and lamps, chest of drawers and hanging hooks Well separated and partially partitioned from the double bed area is a single bed with bedside table and lamp and further chest of drawers This first floor room would suit a couple wanting spacious accommodation or a young family with child and baby

Outside There is a terraced area with table and chairs, ideal for al fresco dining. Parking in private drive for one car Marsh Farm have lovely grounds leading in one direction to a large pond and in the other to the meadows and the stream (an area of Special Scientific Interest and therefore protected for its wildlife and flora) In consideration of other visitors, holidaymakers are requested not to smoke in the cottage.

Services Under floor heating, bed linen and towels are provided (please bring your own beach towels) This is a thatched property and therefore holidaymakers are asked to take special care to keep the bbq well away from the cottage
