5 Ferry Road is ideally situated for beach holidays, enjoying an enviable position at Bawdsey Quay. The sandy beach in front of the cottage is an ideal area for children. Small sailing dinghies can be launched from the hard to the left of the quay.
Winter or summer the cottage makes a fantastic holiday location. Take a bracing walk in winter round the corner to the coastal beach and watch the waves crashing on the shingle or walk along the Suffolk Coastal Path and view the cliffs.
With a foot ferry on your doorstep you can cross the estuary to the old fisherman's hamlet of Felixstowe Ferry and enjoy fresh fish sold on the beach or visit one of the two lovely pubs.
Sutton Hoo, the ancient market town of Woodbridge, Snape Concert Hall, venue for the Aldeburgh Festival and Minsmere are all within a short drive.
