USEFUL INFORMATION
3 Bell Cottages is close to the delightful thatched village pub, The Bell (where we understand wifi is available) - which can be seen in the main photo. Popular throughout the year for its great food, Adnams beers and atmosphere. Lovely open fires in winter and the occasional traditional Suffolk entertainment in the summer – Molly dancing (similar to Morris dancing). There are some lovely walks from the cottage across the meadows, forest, heathland and marshes to Westleton, RSPB Minsmere and the coast at Dunwich. Whilst very close to the coast the road to the village leads nowhere else so there is a minimum of traffic.
Refurbished in 2010 for holiday lets, the owners fitted a new kitchen and bathroom and decorated throughout to ensure holidaymakers comfort. The spacious kitchen has a good sized dining table suitable for up to 6.
PROVIDED Bed linen and towels for the cottage
PACKING TIPS The owners are keen bird watchers so there are bird books in the cottage. Do bring walking boots, bikes, binoculars and your buckets and spades and beach towels.
ALSO WORTH KNOWING: Excellent farm shop about ten minutes walk from the cottage, selling bread, milk and basics as well as lovely seasonal fruit and veg. There is an apple farm a little further on, where you can buy apples by the bucket. Fantastic. Great second hand bookshop in Westleton
