Woodbridge 3.5 miles, Orford 13.5 miles, Aldeburgh 16 miles

A rural setting just outside the pretty village of Bredfield the Dairy is within a short walk of a local shop selling organic produce, and The Castle pub. The area around Partridge Farm Dairy has soft landscaping, the front deck opening onto a hard standing area beyond where there is an attractive pond. A path across the fields leads to the village in one direction and Boulge Church in the other (final resting place of Edward Fitzgerald, translator of The Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam).

Chickens peck at the grass in the field near by. Set back from the Dairy is an all weather hard tennis court currently suitable for various ball games.

Close by in one direction is the ancient market town of Woodbridge with its lovely food shops, restaurants and delightful river walk along the Deben past the Tide Mill, and in the other is Framlingham, another delightful market town with a magnificent castle.

Sutton Hoo is just a few minutes drive away and the coast at Bawdsey and Orford can be reached within 20 minutes. The Snape Maltings Concert Hall is just a 15 minute drive away.

This is a walkers and bird watchers paradise and the quiet lanes make this area a pleasure for cyclists.
