The Lucam at Swilland Mill
Swilland, Suffolk, United Kingdom
Style: A fine example of the new uses of steam in the 19th century, the Lucam is the centre property of what was known as the "Steam Roller Mills" built in the late 1800s which stands next to the original windmill, thus allowing the mills to operate whatever the weather. Thick walls, stable doors and of course the Lucam itself - a most imposing building. Finish is utterly contemporary while still retaining the many fine original features - luxurious and very comfortable.
