Orford, one of the most popular seaside villages in Suffolk, with its nationally acclaimed restaurants, picturesque houses, twelfth century church and Norman castle, still retains the peace and tranquillity which goes to make this area so special.
The cottage, one wing of a large traditional Suffolk house, is situated in a prime location on the quay beside the estuary and has wonderful views over the river. An ideal spot for anyone whether you want to go crabbing, sailing, bird watching, walking or simply sit and admire the view.
Being so close to Orford Quay it would be a shame to miss the opportunity of taking a boat trip either on Regardless or The Lady Florence which offers a variety of options such as a brunch cruise, a lunch or dinner cruise and even a cocktail supper cruise.
Havergate Island (RSPB) and Orford Ness (National Trust) are just a ferry ride away, while for music lovers there are concerts in the church as well as Snape and Aldeburgh, just a short car drive away.
Nearest pub The Jolly Sailor, Orford
