Lie in bed and look over the balcony at the beach and the sea. Sit round the BBQ and watch the sun set over the village. With all the creature comforts of contemporary living, this is a holiday house to be enjoyed at any time of the year.
Ideal for any age group Shore Cote has comfortable bedrooms with the benefit of a twin bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor. The garden is enclosed so ideal for younger children, with a gate leading from the garden onto the beach. Please remember to keep the gates closed to deter the rabbits from entering the garden.
Young or old, there is lots to entertain with sailing, rowing, canoeing, punting, tennis and golf all within a few minutes' walk.
In the centre of Thorpeness is the Meare, a wildlife rich lake, with rowing boats, dinghies, and punts for hire. Thorpeness also has a country club with tennis courts, golf course, attractive pub and an excellent village shop.
Just a short walk along a seaside footpath will take you to Aldeburgh, home of the Aldeburgh Festival and the Freud Summer Theatre, where there are several excellent restaurants, pubs and lovely shops, as well as a fascinating museum, boating lake, sailing and yacht club. RSPB Minsmere, Dunwich and Southwold are all within a short drive.
