In short, yes! Our sister brand Suffolk Cottage Care have a team of 11, including 4, on-the-road, maintenance operatives. Any guests staying at a property managed by Suffolk Cottage Care will be given an out of hours emergency number, giving total peace of mind should the worst happen. Our team assess the priority and react as required. Suffolk Cottage Holidays are one of the few agencies to offer a full housekeeping service including sourcing and referencing potential housekeepers, covering sickness and holidays as well as paying invoices on the owner’s behalf. A comparative service will be hard to find.
How will my property be marketed?
Suffolk Cottage Holidays are part of a family of local agencies known collectively as Original Cottages. As a part of a national and local company, our homeowners have access to a much wider service of advertising. For example, our whole portfolio is automatically listed on the Original Cottages national website in addition to suffolkcottageholidays.com. We have a dedicated marketing team who keep up to date with the latest trends through social media, email and print. Using a customer relationship manager, we are able to fine tune our content to certain audiences within our database with effective results! We are also partnered with a number of affiliated websites including HomeAway, LoveCottages, Snaptrip and AirBnB who also list your cottage at no additional cost.
If Suffolk Cottage Holidays is part of a national company, will I be speaking to a call centre?
We value our homeowners and want to provide a trustworthy service, that’s why we assign each and every one with a fixed point of contact. Your homeowner liaison will be your eyes and ears, checking how bookings are going and being proactive with the market. You will be given their direct number and email address – meaning that all queries and concerns can be answered by someone you know. It’s all part of our friendly service.
I don’t want guests contacting me. Can you take bookings on my behalf?
When signing up with Suffolk Cottage Holidays homeowners can completely hand over the reins. From finding the perfect property to taking final payments, our guest services team are at the end of the phone or email to make sure that our holidaymakers have a 5 star treatment from the start to finish. Our booking lines are open from 8 am–8 pm Monday–Saturday and 11 am–3 pm on Sundays, meaning holidaymakers can call to book outside of busy work hours. 56% of our bookings are made via our website and so we make sure the process is as quick as pressing a button!
