Suffolk Cottage Holidays have been committed to successfully letting holiday cottages in and around the Suffolk countryside for just over 15 years. Striving to be friendly and approachable, we believe in delivering a highly desirable service that offers the peace of mind and reassurance to our homeowners.

We recently caught up with the owners of Juniper Cottage, Matt and Martina. We wanted to see what they thought of our service so far and what led them to choose Suffolk Cottage Holidays as their letting agent.

Juniper OwnersQ: How long has Juniper Cottage been a part of the Suffolk Cottage Holidays family?

A: We are relative new comers to the family!  We bought Juniper Cottage in February 2017 and with Suffolk Cottage Holidays’ help we were ready to launch in July 2017.

Q: What made you choose Suffolk Cottage Holidays as a letting agency for Juniper Cottage?

A: We had stayed in a number of cottages we booked through SCH and were really happy with both the standard of accommodation and the service.  It was really the personal touch that made the difference. I recall phoning to book a cottage and as soon as I said my name, they recognised me.  It made a real impression and when we bought Juniper Cottage we went straight to SCH without hesitation. Q: What have you enjoyed about our service to you as an owner so far?

A: As an owner, we simply don’t have to worry.  We are just informed of all bookings by email and I think the website is extremely easy having been both customer and owner.

Q: What was it that first inspired you to start letting Juniper Cottage?

A: We have been traveling back to Woodbridge twice a year for the last 10 years or so to spend time with my mother.   After staying in a few cottages we felt we wanted to come to our own place where we know exactly what to expect. Having two young boys we feel we know what is needed to make the holidays great for them as well, so we set up everything we need, including picnic hamper and drinks cooler. It was then a really easy step for us to make the simple move to start letting Juniper Cottage.

Q: What advice would you give to anybody interested in letting out their property as a holiday cottage?

A: We once stayed in a cottage with no washing machine (not through SCH!).  It was a nightmare for us and we had assumed everywhere would have a washing machine.  Make sure you provide all the basics or be very clear if you don’t!

Juniper Cottage in Woodbridge sleeps 4 and can be booked here.
