Built on the side of the valley, the barn takes advantage of the contours of the hill and the creation of several sunken garden areas to give garden access to three of the four floors of this magnificent barn. Double doors lead from the drive to the entrance area, which gives access to a cloakroom, laundry room and storage cupboards. Long sloping corridors with stairs lead up into the enormous open plan living area with spacious and well fitted kitchen, dining for 14 or more guests and large and luxurious sitting room with sofas and chairs and large Smart TV, double doors open on to the terrace. A further corridor leads to the ground floor bedroom and en suite bathroom and stairs to the lower ground floor where there is an enormous bedroom with large sitting area and en suite bathroom. Upstairs on the 1st floor there are three bedrooms and a family bathroom with a further set of stairs leading to the second floor master bedroom, it's en suite bathroom and dressing room. There are wonderful views of the surrounding meadows and fields from the majority of windows.

The Old Barn is approached by a byway - with fields either side. 5 bar gates open into the large drive with ample parking for six cars. A large terrace with table and chairs and barbecue opens from the living room. The Old Barn, Chelsworth is surrounded by large areas of lawn. The barn is entered at ground level where there is large hall space with big walk in cupboards to either side. Cupboards include a washing machine, tumble dryer, large fridge freezer, pantry, storage cupboard, utility sink. At the end of the hall, doors lead to a ground floor cloakroom with wash basin and w.c., and a boiler room with fuse boxes etc
Stairs on either side of the hall lead to the double storey barn which which has full height double doors leading the garden and gas central heating. Lighting is provided by a number of pendant lamps, floor lights and uplighters

The spa room can be separated from the extended pod by curtains as and when . A super king / full sized twin beds (please state preference before arrival) and a large and comfortable sofa bed.

An ideal property for a family gathering - extremely generously equipped, plenty of space inside and out and good catering facilities. The owner met us at the property and was extremely welcoming. She showed us round every room and all appliances and encouraged use of all facilities including glasses for our party on Saturday night. Overall, we loved the Barn and were made to feel relaxed and were encouraged to treat the place like our own home. Both the owner and the amazing Barn made my birthday celebrations complete.
