Hadleigh is a thriving town which is in the heart of south Suffolk right on the edge of Constable Country; an area famous for its outstanding countryside views and natural beauty. The town’s backbone is the High Street with just the right eclectic mix of well-known and independent shops, services, restaurants, cafés and pubs. Hadleigh is surrounded by charming Suffolk villages such as Kersey which has been described as Suffolk's prettiest hamlet. In the Middle Ages, Kersey was a thriving village producing woollen yarn and over 500 people occupied the timber framed houses. Nowadays, it's more peaceful place with circa 150 people occupying many of those same houses. Whilst staying in Hadleigh other Suffolk villages well worth a visit include the wool towns of Lavenham, Long Melford, Clare and Cavendish. In the other direction are the equally attractive villages of Dedham and the famous Flatford Mill. Hadleigh is also ideally located and is just a short drive to Ipswich or Colchester.

Stayed in this beautiful house for a week early January this year for our first wedding anniversary. It was our first visit to Suffolk and would love to return in the summer months. The house is stunning, beautifully and sympathetically renovated with a lovely homely feel to it. The owners are lovely and very helpful when we had to call them on a small matter. The town of Hadleigh has a good selection of pubs, shops and restaurants and we found the people very friendly. Looking forward to a return visit this summer to The Coach House hopefully. Thanks

Past Customer,

Beautifully appointed, very comfortable and a great house for a get together

Mrs Lucy B,

Lovely property at the heart of Hadleigh town centre - very close to the lovely high street with all the local shops and restaurants. River Brett is literally a stone throw away with short drive (or bike rides) to the adjacent beautiful villages such as Kersey, Chelsworth, Lavenham etc. The property is very clean and decorated/furnished to a very high standard which made the stay very pleasant and enjoyable. Private/secured parking was a plus

Past Customer,

We enjoyed staying in a well thought out renovation in a lovely area, thank you for the welcome pack.

Previous Customer,

Loved your little cottage, handy for everything, home from home , thank you.

Mr D,

Libera Mella - 05/08/17 to 12/08/17 This beautiful luxurious cottage hasn’t been opened long, and has been renovated to the highest finish. It is immaculate throughout, and has everything you need. The welcome pack was a lovely touch. The Cottage is perfectly located on a quiet lane just off the main high street. There are lovely shops, many restaurants and a few good takeaways nearby. My sis and our 4 kids visited many places quite nearby, Framlingham Castle, Sutton Hoo, Woodbridge Boat ride, Felixstowe beach, Landguard Fort, Sudbury, Ipswich and enjoyed many lunches at quaint cafes mentioned in the wonderful information pack provided by the owner. Also took the kids to Kersey Mill where there is an arts and crafts place where kids can make all sorts, ours chose mosaics and that kept them entertained for a couple of hours! All in all a wonderful time was had by all. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, the kids were so excited about returning to the cottage every night, they absolutely loved it, we wished we could have stayed longer. I definitely recommend this place, you will not be disappointed.

Beautiful cottage, couldn't fault a thing. Didn't want to leave! Our 2 year old son really appreciated the box of activities, thank you!
