Waveney Lodge and Shepherds Huts
Set on the Suffolk/Norfolk border, Waveney Lodge and Shepherds Huts is nestled in the pleasant hamlet of Toft Monks, just 10 minutes from the bustling market town of Beccles and some simply glorious walks along the River Waveney, the gateway to the Norfolk Broads. Offering a diverse selection of accommodation for up to 9 guests, it's the perfect spot for a multi-generational holiday - teenage kids, mum & dad and the grandparents. It's also great for a group of couples with a taste for outdoor life as well as the home comforts.
This complex includes two luxury shepherds huts and a well-equipped glamping pod, each sleeping two; and a stylish holiday cottage with space for 3 guests. The huts and pod are luxuriously furnished for maximum comfort (there's even a log-burner for the chillier months) and they each have separate private WC and wash facilities, plus outdoor cooking facilities. The pod has a simple kitchen inside. Waveney Lodge Cottage is a cute pastel cottage, traditionally furnished with all mod-cons. It's pet-friendly too so every member of the family can come and enjoy this Suffolk/Norfolk escape!
A stay at Waveney Lodge and Shepherds Huts is a real taste of rural life in Suffolk, you'll be spellbound by the peace and tranquility, but you're not isolated - there's a good choice of local pubs in the surrounding villages of Aldeby and Haddiscoe (MacDonalds is only a few minutes drive away too!!) and a short drive will take you to Beccles, Bungay, Norwich and more.
