Snape Holiday Cottages
Home of Aldeburgh Music, Snape has both a wonderful music venue and one of the most attractive estuary frontages to be found. A tiny village and yet there are great pubs a plenty, shops selling everything from painting to pastries, chedder to crafts.
Superb reed beds flank the river bank where you will see old Thames barges and river boats taking visitors down river to where the river widens into a beautiful estuary at Iken, overlooked by the iconic church of St Botolphs. A perfect base for walkers birdwatchers and cyclists; you can go horse riding at Iken or take a canoe trip down the river.
Near by is the lovely village of Blaxhall; surrounded by ancient heathland, the village retains its old world charm and feeling of a bygone year. The village pub has a wonderful atmosphere and is famous for its music nights and friendly atmosphere.
