Description

Woodland Lodge is located in the picturesque village of Wilby, mid Suffolk. A perfect setting for those looking to escape, relax and explore the Suffolk Coast as well as Suffolk’s quaint market towns.  

About the property: Furnished to a very high standard; Woodland Lodge has solid oak throughout, a cosy wood burner in the sitting room with double glass doors opening out to a the garden area which offers views over the private woodland area. The spacious bedroom holds a king sized bed with 500 thread count linen, as well as bathrobes for that luxury feel. There is a large, statement en-suite bathroom, with a spacious rain shower and deep bath. Woodland Lodge is situated next to Sundial Lodge and can be booked together to accommodate larger groups.

Sleeps: 2 in one king sized bed. There is a travel cot provided should you need it, but please bring your own sheets. 

Parking: There is ample parking available within the grounds. 

This property is ideal for: Couples looking to relax in the countryside and take in the beautiful sites of Suffolk. It is also the perfect base exploring, with easy access to the coastal destinations such as Aldeburgh & Southwold, as well as the local towns such as Woodbridge & Framingham where you can enjoy local coffee shops, boutique shopping and good restaurants.

There are numerous footpaths surrounding the area, so if you are into walking or cycling than this is a good base for you.

Self-catering eating and drinking: The nearby village of Stradbroke is worth a visit to get your freshly baked breads and cakes, local meats and groceries.  Here you will also find some very good pubs are restaurants. We recommend The Ivy House; here you’ll find great service and superb menu.

Just 10 miles down the road you will find a Tesco Super Store, located in Diss.
