First year introductory prices - Woodside is new property in our portfolio and is offering fantastic first year pricing!

In an utterly charming village, just a hop, skip and a jump from an equally inviting village pub, Woodside is a beautifully renovated, Grade II listed country cottage packed full of character, warmth and homeliness. Furnished with holidaymakers in mind, Woodside has been utterly transformed in 2018 to provide a memorable self-catering accommodation in the heart of the Suffolk countryside.

Wonderful beamed walls and quirky flooring make this such a welcoming cottage year round. The newly fitted kitchen/diner is light and bright and truly in keeping with the cottage's historical roots. A roaring woodburning stove is a delight to cuddle around in winter along with your four-legged friend - plus the Smart TV makes catching up with your favourite programmes a dream. Upstairs, three well-equipped bedrooms await; a double, twin and single. The family bathroom comes complete with a bath and separate shower and is thoughtfully designed to work around the characterful sloping ceilings.

To the rear, a fully enclosed garden looks out over the woodland behind. A small stream can be seen from above - a great spot to enjoy a spot of birdwatching, or merely listening to the wind blowing through the trees... Woodside is ideally situated for walkers or cyclists looking to explore the area. With Heveningham Hall just a short walk away, you really must be sure to explore their annual Summer fair and fireworks display, great fun for all ages. Equally close by are Peasenhall, Yoxford, Aldeburgh and Southwold. After days spent exploring you'll be pleased to leave muddy belongings in the useful utility room cum boot room, or even giving wet clothes a once over in the convenient washing machine and tumble dryer!

So for a truly magical holiday in a true home-from-home, we recommend a stay at Woodside. Pub: 100 yards, Shop: 4.2 miles.

Huntingfield is a pretty little village located in the heart of the Suffolk countryside only five miles from the bustling market town of Halesworth. The village itself is most famous for St Mary’s Church and its impressive painted ceiling which brings people from miles around to view the masterpiece. Its well worth a visit if you get the chance. There is also a friendly village pub called the Huntingfield Arms which serves food. Best to call ahead if you plan a visit, just to confirm the opening times.

Surrounding the village is a wealth of footpaths waiting to be explored, which will take you across some of Suffolk’s most beautiful countryside no matter the time of year.

For a greater selection of shops, pubs and restaurants why not take the short drive to nearby Halesworth or if you fancy a trip to the coast the very popular holiday destination of Southwold and its long sandy beach is less than 30 minutes’ drive away.

Our stay was all to brief. The cottage was delightfully furnished with all mod cons and absolutely everything was provided, even down to the little torches for us to see our way round at night-time. It made us realise what a wonderful area Norfolk & Suffolk are and how we must come back again

Past Customer,

Thank you for a lovely few days, the welcome basket was 'welcoming' & thank you for the dog biscuits too! The cottage is lovely, well situated but wonderfully peaceful. Thanks again.

Previous Customer,

We loved our stay here and shall hope to come back soon! We really love what you have done with the cottage, it looks really nice! Thank you very much.

Previous Customer,

Thank you for a wonderful, relaxing long weekend away from the city! Beautiful, peaceful surroundings and the cottage had everything we needed and more.

Previous Customer,

Really beautiful spot, and the house was so beautifully well thought out and comfortable. Felt like a home rather than a holiday let. Sad to leave.

Previous Customer,

An absolutely delightful cottage with everything you could wish for provided. We all had a great time here.
