Woodbridge is a historic town of great character situated on the River Deben. Its charm lies in the many narrow picturesque streets of fine houses and cottages, the river, a popular marina, the busy boatyards, the famous working Tide Mill and the ancient buildings around the Market Hill. There is also an interesting shopping centre, with many specialist independent shops, good restaurants and pubs, together with art galleries, museums, an excellent cinema/theatre, large recreation areas and an indoor heated swimming pool.
We did enjoy our stay in Woodbridge and Anchor Cottage is beautiful.
Lovely comfortable cottage with a homely feel. Ideal location with easy access to local park, buses & train station. Excellent walks in the Woodbridge area.
We really loved this house; it's very central in Woodbridge so everything in the town is walkable, but it was also very quiet and peaceful. The house had the feel of a much loved holiday home for a family, full of great books, and lovely objects, rugs etc. The bedrooms were particularly lovely. We would happily go there again.
We've had a really lovely few days in this delightful cottage. Very comfortable & homey, we've enjoyed dipping into the numerous books & cookbooks. We've done some great walks, and really enjoyed being right in the middle of Woodbridge.
Lovely spacious cottage, well located for town centre shops, pubs etc. Thank you
Lovely Cottage, well equipped & comfy. Loved Woodbridge, great food & warm welcome at the Kings Head. Thank you
We had a restful week in this lovely cottage which we found clean, comfortable and well equipped. We visited Woodbirdge as it was the Maritime Festival, Southwold & Aldeburgh, Snape Maltings, we cycled to Waldringfield. The Maybush Pub on the river is lovely. We returned the next day and went on a wonderful 2 hour boat trip. We would recommend this. Thank you
Really lovely cottage and very well equipped. Woodbridge is a great place and a good base for surrounding areas. Would recommend 'The Table' for a nice meal. Thanks for milk, tea, coffee & Biccies.
