Lower
Ufford, a conservation area, retains its village post office and
stores and friendly public house, the White Lion, with roaring fires
in winter and a delightful garden in summer.
There
are wonderful walks along the banks of the river Deben or along
the 'lost' lanes to Eyke.
The
Barn has its own south facing 'sun-trap' garden with furniture
and access to a gas-fired barbecue.
|
Walnut Tree Barn is in the sleepy heart of
this delightful village and has lovely views over the historic water
meadows.
